From 2003 onwards, he has been regularly featured at essential gigs in the Tokyo scene such as Mo'Fire, Rewind, Barricade, Soi, One Love, Zero, DBS, Sprout, Incident Beatz, Neon, and Hangover. Simultaneously, he has been involved in collaborative projects with artists such as the Tokyo Rockers in making compilations.
In 2007, MC D2 also took part in an album alongside OQTO from Steppin' Ahead, Japan's only dubstep label. In the same year, he started organizing Jungle Scape and Hybrid, his own drum'n'bass events and released the acclaimed Kaizan Mix with DJ Large Mouth.
D2 continues to expand his fan base with his uncompromising lyrical skill and delivery which show an extensive understanding of the various styles of DJs in the scene.

Drum'n'Bass exploded onto the Tokyo scene in the latter half of the 90's as the massive new sound from the UK. Over the years, it has continued to spread and evolve throughout Japan, influencing the clubbing scene and giving birth to numerous home-grown artists.
In 2009, DJ Largemouth and MC D2 came together to form Kaizan Records in their native Kanagawa, the far eastern heartland of Japan where the Kanto mountains meet the Pacific.
The duo have since been prolific producers, broadcasting their sound to the fast moving scene by releasing tunes through a variety of mediums while continuing to perform regularly at crucial gigs on the Tokyo circuit.
